What the works displayed have in common is the passion of their design, the innovative mindset that made the years from 1950 to the late 1970s unique to Milan.
On view are works like the posters for the first exhibition of Ettore Sottsass’ ceramics in 1959 at the gallery Il Sestante in Via Spiga, Enzo Mari’s example of self-design known as “Tavolo Quadrato”, and Bruno Munari’s “Tavole Tattili”, along with other works by the same authors and by:
