Raphaëlle Bischoff and Paola Weiss started curating shows together in 2003 and went on to open Bischoff/Weiss gallery in 2005 in Shoreditch. The immediate success of the gallery propelled an expansion to Mayfair in 2009, at the very heart of the international contemporary art market. They took special projects to art fairs such as Art Basel, Frieze Art Fair, Art Dubai, and Fiac, amongst other events. In 2014, they decided to embark on a new project, an art consultancy, after having managed their high-profile, cutting-edge gallery for a decade.
